Light and mobile, these pieces adapt to different sites and terrains. The Modulables are made up of a series of solos, duos and trios ranging in duration from 4 to 10 minutes. Each of these works has its own unique theme and each has come out of interactions between the dancers and other artists involved in the project making up an ongoing part of the company’s research. It was at the Biennale of contemporary Art in Lyon in 2005 that Joanne Leighton first started making works destined for galleries, museums and out door spaces.
